Cashflow Forecast
The money coming in and going out over the coming weeks and months.
by Bluemark
Tomorrow's cash position, from what is already in Odoo
Business Plus Cashflow Forecast shows you the money coming in and going out over the coming weeks and months, from the invoices, orders and recurring payments already in Odoo, starting from your real bank balance.
What you get
You start from your real bank balance
The forecast starts today, for every bank and cash account, over 13 or 26 weeks or 12 months.
Open invoices, on their due dates
Customers and suppliers, with the payment term written on the invoice.
Sales and purchase orders
Receipts come from the planned invoicing date plus the payment term; payments, from order lines with a planned receipt.
Recurring payments
Salaries, rent, instalments: a fixed amount or the average of recent months on the accounts you choose, monthly, quarterly or yearly, moved to a working day.
The payment date is not the due date
You move a payment when you decide to, and your adjustment stays: nothing overwrites it at the next update.
Saved scenarios
Move payments, change amounts, leave rows out or add new ones and see the effect; apply the scenario you choose, and the rejected ones remain as a record of the decision.
How far you can rely on each figure
Every row shows whether it comes from an invoice, is derived from an order or an average, or is only planned.
Foreign currency, at a planned rate
Future amounts in foreign currency are converted at the rate you declare, kept separate from the accounting rates.
From the figure to the documents
One click on a figure in the dashboard opens the rows behind it.
The treasury dashboard
Today's balance, what is already overdue, the lowest point of the balance and how much comes in and goes out over the chosen period — plus the balance curve week by week and where you land if nothing more comes in.
Which questions does it answer for you?
- How much money will we have in the bank in 4, 8 or 13 weeks?
- In which week do we go into the red, and why?
- How much goes out every month regardless of sales?
- What happens if we postpone the large payments by a month?
- What receipts do we expect from orders already confirmed?
- Which amounts to collect or pay are more than a year old and no longer a forecast?
Value for the organisation
- You see a cash shortfall weeks ahead, not on the day of the payment
- It replaces the spreadsheet rebuilt by hand every week
- Decisions to postpone payments leave a record: what was considered and what was chosen
- One source for treasury: the same invoices and orders in Odoo, not a copy
You know how much money you will have. When. And what happens if you move a payment.
